Within the next year we’ll be opening our own on-site car park with space for a further 20 cars and no time restriction, so you’ll be able to park for as long as your appointment or treatment needs, without watching the clock.
Getting here another way
- Walking from campus: just a few minutes on foot from the University of York campus.
- By bike: cycle parking is available on the railings right outside the practice.
- By bus: the nearest stop is Heslington Hall on University Road, at the Main Street junction, served by the U1 and U2 university bus routes.
While you’re here
Heslington village has a post office and a sandwich shop right nearby, handy for picking something up before or after your appointment.

Is the parking really free?
Yes, the 8 spaces directly outside the practice are free to use, with a 30 minute limit. No ticket, no app, no payment.
What if my appointment runs longer than 30 minutes?
Just let reception know when you arrive and we’ll advise you on the best option. Once our new on-site car park opens this won’t be a concern at all, as it will have no time restriction.
Is there anywhere to lock up a bike?
Yes, there’s cycle parking on the railings right outside the practice.
How far is it from the University of York campus?
