Why You Can’t Directly Transfer a Denplan Plan

Step 1 — Cancel Your Existing Denplan

There are a few important things to know before you cancel:

  • 21 days’ notice is required — your contract with your current practice will end on the last day of the month. If you contact Denplan within a week of your last payment, you won’t need to make another payment before joining us
  • Ask your current practice for a Patient Leaving Form — Denplan recommends a final appointment with your existing practice before you leave. Ask them to complete a Patient Leaving Form for you and bring it to your appointment at Heslington Dental
  • No registration fee if re-joining within 6 months — if you’ve previously been on a Denplan scheme and are re-joining within six months, there’s no registration fee to pay

Step 2 — Book Your New Patient Examination at Heslington Dental

Your monthly fee covers your routine preventive dental care — keeping you registered with the practice, ensuring your check-ups are taken care of, and giving you the peace of mind that your oral health is being actively maintained rather than just reactively treated.
