Here we have Katherine McCarthy!
After graduating from University College Cork, Ireland, in 2011, Katie relocated to the UK. She first moved to the region to work as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at York Hospital, and quickly fell in love with Yorkshire!
Committed to post-graduate education, Katie earned her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, and later completed further training in Conscious Sedation at Newcastle University.
While she previously commuted daily to Newby Dental Practice, Katie is now taking the lead at our Heslington Dental Practice. Here, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care and is particularly skilled at putting anxious patients at ease.
Outside of the clinic, Katie is kept busy by her young family. She loves the outdoors, long walks, and traveling whenever she gets the chance, which includes regular weekend trips back home to Ireland.
